Administrative Worker

The administrative worker is in charge of completing enrolments and changes in protections, addresses, beneficiaries and other operations to update the adherents’ files and verify the receipts related to insurance premiums.

Level of education

  • DES or AEC completed


  • Between $ 22.42 and $ 29.25 an hour depending on experience

Description of Tasks

Ensures the processing of the activities inherent in a sound management of client files while respecting quality and quantity standards and identifies the problems, precisely determines the origins, the causes and identifies the relevant solutions.

Performs memberships and changes of protections, addresses, beneficiaries and other operations to update members' files; perform transfers, group or member terminations in compliance with the contract.

Checks and balances collections relating to insurance premiums; health accounts and other types of billing

Checks that the premium rates have been applied correctly; register and modify accounts receivable; makes collections and withdrawals; prepares adjustment invoices or reimbursement requests.
