Description of Tasks

Ensure the proper management of the lists of drugs in Quebec and across Canada and analyze the submissions relating to new drugs proposed by the pharmaceutical companies, document their effects as well as their relevance, and make recommendations in their regard.

Propose pharmaceutical strategies to optimize medication management and develop processes and control measures to limit costs and manage the risks associated with medication management.

Participate in the process related to prior authorization drugs, drawing on his clinical and theoretical experience and intervene on pharmaceutical issues during the development of new insurance products.

Act as a resource person with suppliers, associations, pharmaceutical companies, customers and various insurer departments, in particular audit and investigation teams.
