Bursaries and financial help for studies

You are currently studying or plan on going back to school, but you would need a bit of financial help? The following governments, teaching establishments, financial institutions and Not for Profit Organizations could support you with loans and bursaries.

This list is not exhaustive: should you wish to obtain support, please refer to your teaching establishment’s financial help services, which might identify other pertinent resources.

Government of Canada

The federal government offers loans and bursaries to Canadian residents in most provinces and territories who need financial help to continue their studies in a university, college, trade school or vocational school.

Organizations linked to the insurance industry and insurers who wish to encourage students to pursue a career in insurance also offer financial help programs. Here are a few examples:

  • Prix leadership Réal-Circé de La Capitale general insurances to encourage students to pursue undergraduate studies in the domain of administration sciences while demonstrating an interest for the sector of insurance
  • Bourses Laferrière de La Capitale general insurances aimed at students of the Conseil en assurances et services financiers program of the Cégep de Sainte-Foy
